Let me repeat, that a politician in a secular state is expected to talk much about welfare. But if he does that even when speaking to librarians about the value of books and reading, without a single reference to a greater, wider, deeper dimension, than just earning money, he has left even the already inhuman level of secular “realism” and he has arrived to barbarity.
