Indeed, nineteenth- and twentieth- century thoughts about Don Juan have been dominated by Mozart\u2019s embodiment of him.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ellopos.net\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/upload.wikimedia.org\/wikipedia\/commons\/d\/db\/Mozart_at_Vienna_playing_his_Opera_Don_Juan_for_the_first_time.jpg\" style=\"border:none;\"><\/a><\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 200px;float: left;padding: 12px;\">When we think to-day of Don Juan, we think, voluntarily or involuntarily, of \u2018Mozart\u2019s Don Juan\u2019. Mozart did for Don Juan what Goethe did for Faust\u2014made his representation the prototype of all others. &#8211; P.
