Christodoulos’ trials
Not much time after his election to the throne of the Church of Greece, and a rain of attacks against Christodoulos begun. When you have a will to do (good or bad) work it is natural for some to be displeased. Now that the archbishop faces serious health problems, everyone has a nice word to say. This kind of ‘philanthropy’ makes me sick. How could possibly illness and death unite those who neither faith nor philosophy were able to unite? I’d like for the enemies to have remained just that, to respect their intention and his priesthood. But it seems that he had to go through this adventure, to suffer even their so called philanthropy…
